Site Operations

Health and Safety on the Leek manufacturing site is regulated by the Health & Safety Executive.

Pollution, Prevention, and Control (EPR)

The Leek site is regulated by the Environment Agency under the Environmental Permit

Regulations (EPR).

Emissions from the manufacturing process are monitored and reported to the

Environment Agency as part of the Permit.

The Chemical Industry's own Safety Initiative

The chemical industry has an international voluntary initiative called Responsible Care,

which aims for continuous improvements in all aspects of health,

safety, and environmental protection performance.

Since Tennants Fine Chemicals is committed to continuous improvement, we support Responsible Care.

As part of our commitment to this programme, groups meet regularly; addressing all aspects of Responsible Care.
